EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY (EAP)

Create a solid foundation and learn how to create the life you want, mend broken relationships, overcome trauma, and more, so you can experience meaningful and enduring change.

A licensed Mental Health Professional leads the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) sessions, and along with the Equine Specialist, is trained and certified in this unique process. It is not recreational horsemanship, riding lessons, or therapeutic horseback riding.

When you are unable to handle the stresses of life, you can find yourself in the same situation over and over again... stuck. It takes a toll on relationships and your ability to manage life well. Lacking self-confidence and self-respect, frustrated and discouraged with life, it can seem hopeless.

EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy) picks up where traditional talk therapy leaves off. Involving horses in the process empowers you to ‘see’ your behaviors and how those behaviors impact you and others. Liberate yourself as you find the answers you are looking for, guided by professionals, alongside the horses.

EQUINE-ASSISTED LEARNING (EAL)

Equine-assisted learning (EAL) is a learning approach that promotes life skills for educational, professional, and personal goals guided activities.

Horses use mostly non-vocal communication and are in tune with human behavior. This helps participants better understand and learn how non-verbal communication can impact others in their lives. By interacting with the horses, participants learn a heightened self-awareness, which is key in revealing patterns of behavior and allows participants to problem-solve in new way.

You'll gain self-esteem and self-confidence while learning how to work with such a large, wise, and powerful creature.
